Dentists Don't Like Me

Dentists don't like me. I went in to get a cavity fixed. I got lots of shots. It hurt. But then my mouth was numb so i couldn't feel anything after that. Anyway, I was told I needed a root canal. Joy.

Simulation of horrible cavity:
See? My tooth is crying in pain.
Actually, after they temporarily fixed my tooth in preparation for my root canal on October 5th, I was in blissful ouchlessness.
Until the Novocaine wore off.

I had a psychological meltdown full of painful psychotic raging. I refused to get out of our truck and when Mom was desperately trying to get me out, I took off. I sat on a stump in the back of our garden, crying and screaming. It was horrible!
Like so:
And my tooth was controlling me fully, so I was like:

So anyway, that was bad.
Oh, but after my temporary cavity fix, yet before the Novocaine wore off, I had a tooth cleaning where I found out I had four cavities. Including one between my two front teeth.

*Sigh*
Also, almost all of my sealants have fallen off, or were never even sealed. The dentist was kinda mad...
So... Dentists don't like me.

How I Snuck my Bearded Dragon into the Grocery Store

Today I came across a dilemma: Stay at home with my bearded dragon or go to the grocery store.
I chose both.
I made a very elaborate plan:
  1. Put on a pullover hoodie.
  2. Put Poppy in the pocket.
  3. Go to the grocery store.
  4. Do some shopping.
  5. Leave the grocery store.
  6. Come home.
But it worked out more like this:
  1. Put Poppy in the pocket of my bag.
  2. Repeat 3-5.
  3. Go to get Poppy wax worms.
  4. Put Poppy back in my bag.
  5. Go to a convenience store.
  6. Go home.
All in all, my plan was foolproof.
Peace out, y'all. Maybe.

Headphones

I'm bored a lot, so I tend to search our house until I find something to do. A while back I said to myself "Well, I can't afford tricked out expensive headphones. I should make a pair!" I don't often have uber good ideas, but I was lucky enough that this turned out to be a superb idea.
These headphones were fairly easy to make, too! One pair I built out of two pairs of headphones, the other I just decorated and painted with nailpolish.
I really like these headphones, no matter how old they were (I got them when I was probably, like, six, to be honest), because of the cool hypnotic blue circle. I would probably like them even more if they lit up. I don't know how I would do that though. Anyway, I used an X-acto knife to mutilate the top of the headphones so I could take that part off, since it was shaped funny.

I put the top of a different pair (I had to mutilate only the bottom of that pair) onto my good looking pair. This was so easy, my cat could do it. Maybe. If he had thumbs. Removing parts is the only hard part to building headphones, and if you're not to keen on plastic bits flying everywhere, you should probably ask a grownup for help, or wear safety goggles. I did neither. I guess Mom helped untangle the cords, and she got the X-acto knives out of the drawer for me.
This pair looked good already, so I just  painted it with nailpolish and put sparklies and ribbons on it.
I definitely recommend making these. I had a lot of fun.
Either sometime today or tomorrow I'll have a post about cupcakes up. I really like cooking.
Bye!

Flower Hair Ribbon and my Bearded Dragon

:D
I want to show you a very simple craft I made after watching the anime Shugo Chara. It's based off of Nadeshiko's hair ribbon. I made a wide variety of colors and sizes, so experiment to find what works best for you.
This is what it looks like when it's finished. (It's on a Bratz styling head by the way. Never thought that would come in handy.)
What you need:
Small clothespins, or the mini brightly colored kind. Those work well too.

Fake flowers (Any kind you want. Available at craft stores.)
                                                                              Ribbon
                                                                             Scissors
And Glue. Even though the pictuere didn't show up.

Cut the flower off the stem. Put glue at the base of it, as close as you can.
Wrap the ribbon around it a few times, and secure it with a clothespin.
Hey, look. The glue picture showed up! :D A little late now I guess...
Roll the ribbon up on your fingers and secure with a small clothespin. This step is really only imprtant if you're making a super long one.

And you're done! Just let it dry a few hours.
Oh, and this is my bearded dragon Poppy.
...
This is awkward.
Can anyone give me advice for ending posts? I'm finding I'm really bad at this.
...
Ummm...
Bye.

That works.
